The Knollwood residents gathered in the activity room for a comedic performance on a Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Taylor put on a phenomenal show about the story of the Chicago fire. This great fire devastated the city of Chicago by burning a significant amount of the buildings. The story always blamed a women and her cow for starting the fire, but Mrs. Taylor told us that the rumors were wrong as she performed. She was able to use humor as a teaching method for this historical event. The residents enjoyed her jokes as they ate popcorn and drank soda. Our residents are excited for more entertainment similar to this!
