Here’s what’s been cooking at Knollwood this week!
We started off the week with cooking with Activity Assistant Beng. They made fried green tomatoes with tomatoes that were grown and picked from our very own garden.
Following the cooking theme this week, resident Glenda cooked up some greens and baked chicken in the activity room kitchen! It’s always great when Glenda cooks because it fills the room with amazing smells!
Following all the cooking, residents played their weekly Rummy games. The competition is starting to get stiff as more residents start playing and getting better as they go!
To cap off the week, what’s better than some brother and sister competition! Resident Tim had his sister visit him and play some pool during our weekly happy hour. Despite how many times Tim says otherwise, his sister won!
Offering seniors age 65 and older a wealth of amenities to retain as much independence as they are able, with support, in a home-like environment in our supportive living community.
