It has been a fun week here at Knollwood! We started our week with our weekly Bunco group on Monday. Bunco in the community has grown from only 2 or 3 residents, to a much larger group. It is a dice game that anybody can play regardless of any limitations, which is what draws many varieties of residents to join!
Every week we have morning exercise that is led by one of our very own residents who is a retired athletic coach. To help reward those that exercise, we have an exercise dance party every Thursday hosted by our Activity Assistant. It is often a looked forward to part of the week by many.
To finish of the week, what better way to celebrate than Happy Hour with entertainment and White Castle? We had the opportunity to listen to some good oldies performed by Ed Steel. Back by popular demand, the White Castle Happy Hour has been requested numerous times since our last one a few months ago.
Offering seniors age 65 and older a wealth of amenities to retain as much independence as they are able, with support, in a home-like environment in our supportive living community.
