On this edition of the Knollwood Weekly Recap, we had a few very exciting things happen! Awhile back in the spring, residents and Activity Assistant Beng germenated vegatables in the activity room, and later planted them in our garden bed. Well this week they were ready to be picked and used for cooking! This year’s crop yielded green tomataos, basil, bell peppers, and sweet melons!
This week we also had a few wonderful birthdays! We would like to wish Kenny and Billy a very Happy Birthday from everyone here at Knollwood.
We finished off the week with our weekly Happy Hour, and this time with a special Musical Performer, Tommy Tunes. Residents enjoyed watching and dancing to classics such as Johnny Cash, Oak Ridge Boys, and many more.
Offering seniors age 65 and older a wealth of amenities to retain as much independence as they are able, with support, in a home-like environment in our supportive living community.
