Employee of the Month
Last recap, we shared our February Resident of the Month. This time, we would like to Congratulate our Receptionist, Niccole, for receiving the Employee of the Month! Niccole is always willing to lend a helping hand when she can!
Superbowl Sunday
February also marks the end of the football season with the highly anticipated Superbowl. We had the good ‘ol classic pizza, chips and dip, and soda served during the big game. Residents enjoyed cheering on the crowd-favorite Kansas City Chiefs for their 2nd in a row Superbowl win!
Mardi Gras King and Queen
For the first two weeks of February, we held voting for Mardi Gras King and Queen. On Mardi Gras, during lunch, we announced our winners while residents enjoyed some traditional Jambalaya and Muffaletta sandwiches which are a staple in the Creole community. Our King was awarded to Dwight and Queen was awarded to Sue!
Valentine’s Day King and Queen
Not only did we celebrate Mardi Gras, but the day after we celebrated Valentine’s Day. As always we held voting for a Valentine’s Day King and Queen. Without a doubt, our winners won by a landslide! Our King was Mr. Roy and the Queen was no other than Mrs. Glenda.
Wear Red Month
And the wrap up the month of February, we selected our winners for our Wear Red Month. As a recap, any time a resident or staff member wore red, their name was put in for a drawing for a gift basket.
Our resident winner is Mrs. Diane and our staff winner goes to Niccole!
