We are in full swing with the Christmas spirit here at Knollwood! We started off the week with some line dancing lessons after out daily exercise class. Residents enjoyed learning the steps with Beng!
Following the line dancing, residents helped bake a few batches of cookies to prepare for Cookies with Santa! The residents baked batches of chocolate chip, peanut butter, and sugar cookies.
When you come to Knollwood, whether it’s for a visit or a tour, and you hear the piano being played, just know that is our Community Liaison Vera! Although she will not admit it, Vera is a very talented pianist, and it is always a pleasure to hear her play!
What is the best way to get the Christmas spirit flowing you ask? Well for us at Knollwood, the answer to that is Pastor Gray paying us a visit to read a “Christmas Story” followed by some hymns and carols in the lobby!
To finish up the week, we had out annual Cookies with Santa. Residents enjoyed some smooth tunes performed by Rodney Connor while enjoying some sweets. Did we mention that Santa paid us a visit as well?! Stay tuned for a collage of pictures of the residents with Santa!
